Navigating Our Future Together" - 16th April 2026

IBC collaborated with ASBF (Asia Small Business Federation) Jakarta Regional and TMC (Trisakti Marketing Club) to deliver this seminar. We chose the theme: “Navigating Our Future Together: Boosting Export Growth Through AI”.

“Navigating Our Future Together” is also the core theme of the 2026 ASEAN Forum under the Philippines’ leadership. Looking ahead to 2027, when Singapore assumes leadership, digital economy growth will become a key focus. This aligns with broader efforts to advance regional integration through the implementation of a comprehensive digital trade framework.

In this context, the seminar was designed to prepare and encourage Indonesian SMEs to strengthen their digital literacy and readiness.

The theme attracted several prominent figures, including:

2. Hermawan Kartajaya, Founder & Chairman of MCorp
3. Fajarini Puntodewi, Director General of PEN, Ministry of Trade

Running for a full 16 days during the school holidays, Haymarket is transformed into a vibrant celebration of culture — ASIA LIVE 2026, proudly supported by the City of Sydney.

This is more than just a performance — it’s a gathering. The event brings together large-scale traditional and cultural showcases, culminating in a spectacular closing event featuring cross-cultural and contemporary Asian music and dance by both international and local Asian Australian artists.

Indonesia Business Council (IBC) Australia was honoured to welcome Dr. Arsul Sani, Constitutional Court Justice of Indonesia, to Sydney on 28 March 2026.

The evening provided a relaxed yet meaningful setting for thoughtful discussion. During the exchange, Dr. Arsul Sani shared valuable strategic insights into the evolving dynamics of cooperation between Indonesia and Australia. Meanwhile, IBC Australia President, Josep Rustam, reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to encouraging its members to contribute positively to the Australian community through business and professional engagement.

The meeting concluded with a photo session. IBC Australia extends its sincere appreciation to Dr. Arsul Sani for his time and gracious presence, and looks forward to the opportunity to welcome him again in the future.

IBC Australia Chapter Jakarta broke fast with LPPI (the Indonesian Banking Development Institute), represented by Mr. Yogi Panggayuh, on 20 February 2026 at AWKitchen, Plaza Senayan.

On this occasion, IBC also presented a plaque of appreciation to LPPI in recognition of the cooperation that has been established, as a reciprocal gesture for LPPI’s previous visit to Sydney. The meeting also included discussions on potential future collaboration between IBC Australia and LPPI.
