Job Description

Location: Remote (United States only)
Employment: Full-time (W2 or 1099 Contractor)

About the Company

Our client is one of the earliest and largest dedicated Web3 marketing agencies. The company has worked with hundreds of leading blockchain and crypto organizations and has helped define many of the marketing playbooks used across the Web3 ecosystem. The team operates fully remotely, values clear communication, and supports a collaborative, learning-driven culture.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Head of PPC to build and lead the agency’s paid advertising function from the ground up. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires deep expertise in paid media, strong familiarity with the Web3 space, and the ability to work directly with clients on strategy and performance reporting.

This person will own all PPC activities, manage significant advertising budgets, set up and monitor analytics, establish processes, and work toward making the department’s P&L profitable. In the future, this role will grow into managing a team as demand continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the agency’s PPC department from scratch, including processes, structure, and future team expansion.

  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across Google Ads, Twitter Ads, Meta Ads, and similar platforms.

  • Set up and manage analytics and tracking using Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or comparable tools.

  • Work with client budgets ranging from $50K–$100K+ per month across multiple accounts.

  • Communicate directly with Web3-native clients about strategy, campaign performance, and recommended optimizations.

  • Deliver measurable results such as ROAS, CPA, and ROMI while improving performance over time.

  • Take full ownership of the department’s P&L, with the goal of reaching profitability within the first three months.

  • Collaborate with the Strategy and Accounts teams to ensure aligned and effective campaign execution.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry changes, Web3 trends, and platform policy updates.

Required Qualifications

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and current U.S. residency.

  • Strong understanding of Web3 concepts and the ability to engage in Web3-native client discussions.

  • 3–4+ years of hands-on PPC experience managing paid advertising across Google, Twitter, and Meta platforms.

  • Experience working in a marketing agency or in a client-facing performance role.

  • Proven ability to manage and optimize budgets of $50K–$100K+ per month.

  • Strong analytical skills and hands-on experience with:

    • Google Tag Manager

    • Google Analytics

    • Mixpanel (or comparable analytics tools)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, suitable for direct client interaction.

  • Ability to work autonomously, build processes from scratch, and operate effectively in a remote environment.

Nice-to-Have

  • Public activity on Twitter or other social platforms related to marketing or Web3.

  • Familiarity with Web3-specific ad networks (e.g., Coinzilla, Bitmedia), though not required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (not mandatory).

Compensation

Base salary: $75,000–$90,000 per year

Bonus:  Performance-based bonus tied to the PPC department’s P&L.  Bonus amounts depend on actual profitability and are not guaranteed.

Total earning potential (OTE): Approximately $120,000–$150,000+ annually, depending on your performance.

Why Join

  • Join one of the leading and longest-standing Web3 marketing agencies.

  • Contribute directly to shaping paid media strategies for the Web3 sector.

  • Work in a fully remote environment with a supportive and communication-driven culture.

  • High-impact role with autonomy, ownership, and clear growth potential.

Interview Process

  1. Prescreen with external recruiter (30 minutes)

  2. Interview with Director of Strategy

  3. Interview with Director of Accounts

  4. Final interview with the CEO
