Who We Are:

Leveling Up with Eric Siu, a 165k subscriber YouTube channel, and Marketing School , a business podcast with 330k monthly listeners, are two business podcasts aimed at educating businesses and entrepreneurs on marketing and business. Both podcasts are operated by Single Grain, an award-winning digital marketing agency run by Eric Siu. We specialize in helping remarkable companies like Amazon, Uber, and Salesforce grow through paid media, SEO, creative content, CRO, and more.

About the Role:

As the Social Media Manager for Leveling Up and Marketing School , you will play a vital role in shaping the digital voice of our brands and driving engagement across multiple platforms. You will ensure content quality, manage posting schedules, and actively drive audience growth. Your role will require exceptional organizational skills and a passion for digital marketing, with responsibilities ranging from content creation to community engagement and performance analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Management: Manage content scheduling, post 5x per day across longform, podcasts, and shortform content.
  • Quality Assurance: Review editor videos for quality assurance, ensuring all content meets high-quality standards before publication. Push for revisions as necessary to maintain top-notch content.
  • Proactive Communication: Actively communicate with editors and designers to ensure all content will meet deadlines.
  • Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Track social media performance metrics, analyze engagement, reach, and traffic, and use insights to continuously optimize content.
  • Trendspotting & Innovation: Stay ahead of platform updates, trends, and best practices, proposing and implementing new strategies for enhanced brand presence.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience managing social media platforms for brands or agencies.
  • Strong proficiency in tools like Asana, Metricool, Meta Business Suite, and content management systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail—able to spot errors and request revisions for high-quality content.
  • Highly organized in life and in work. Ability to post 5 pieces of content per day across longform, podcasts, and shortform, ensuring you have proper descriptions, thumbnail designs, and revisions in on time for all pieces before posting.
  • Comfortable with providing feedback and following up with editors on deadlines.
  • Proactive communication skills, always alerting the team about potential slowdowns before they occur.
  • Experience tracking performance data and suggesting areas of improvement.
  • A self-starter who is open to trying new tools and sharing insights with minimal guidance.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in content creation and community management across Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Background in analytics and using insights to inform content strategy and improve performance.
  • Strong understanding of paid social campaigns and their integration with organic content strategies.
  • Passion for staying updated on social media trends, platform changes, and best practices.
  • Experience with building communities and fostering brand loyalty.

Jobs to Be Done:

  • Post Content: Schedule and post content 5x per day across long form, podcasts, and short form content, ensuring all content is optimized with descriptions, thumbnails, and on-time publishing.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all content posted meets high-quality standards, reviewing editor videos and following up on any necessary revisions.
  • Communication & Coordination: Act as a key communicator, keeping the team informed about content status, deadlines, and potential delays.
  • Monitor & Optimize Performance: Track performance metrics across platforms and adjust strategies based on data to improve engagement, reach, and traffic.
  • Innovation & Trend Integration: Stay current with platform updates and industry trends to implement innovative ideas and creative strategies for optimizing content and growing audience engagement.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Content Strategy Execution: Ensure timely posting of content and maintain alignment with brand goals and audience engagement strategies.
  • Content Quality Assurance: Ensure all content meets brand standards before publication, requesting adjustments as necessary.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track performance and provide regular reports, optimizing strategies for better results.
