This is an onsite  position. Candidates must be located or willing to locate to South Florida / Miami.

The Opportunity

TECKpert is seeking a Salesforce Developer  to join our team supporting our client, a government agency in Miami, FL. This role focuses on implementing and enhancing Salesforce solutions to support tax collection and code enforcement functions. The developer will configure automations, migrate data, and integrate Salesforce with other systems to improve efficiency and compliance.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Configure, customize, and optimize Salesforce applications for tax and code enforcement processes.
• Design and implement Flows (Record-Triggered, Screen, Schedule, Auto-Launched) to automate business processes.
• Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch jobs, and Visualforce pages.
• Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom interfaces.
• Implement integration solutions using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and third-party services.
• Manage data migrations, ensuring accuracy, performance, and scalability.
• Configure profiles, roles, permission sets, and sharing rules to enforce security.

Compensation and Term 

This opportunity is for a full-time, contract position with possible extensions and pay commensurate with experience up to $150,000  per year. Medical, dental, vision and life insurance available after 30 days of hire.

Qualifications you need

A successful candidate has the following experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET development.
• Hands-on experience with Energov (or comparable municipal permitting/licensing systems).
• Background in workflow automation, business rules, and integrations.
• SQL/T-SQL database experience (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
• Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery experience.
