Location: Falmouth, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $64 – $68 per hour
The Emergency Room Registered Nurse delivers high-quality patient care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and adherence to professional nursing standards and hospital policies.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide patient-centered care using the nursing process
Administer and monitor patient responses to medications and treatments
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation
Communicate assessment findings and care plans to interdisciplinary teams
Serve as charge nurse when assigned and act as a clinical resource for staff
Utilize computerized nursing and clinical information systems effectively
Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and care evaluation initiatives
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and confidentiality standards
Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and staff
Participate in required meetings, education, and professional development
Perform additional duties as assigned by nursing leadership
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
Minimum 1 year of ER travel nursing experience
Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency exams
Strong IV skills, including IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring
De-escalation Certification
TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications
