Property Caretaker (FT)

Days: Other (Tuesday-Sunday in summer and Tuesday -Saturday in winter)

Hours: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Compensation: $125,000 to $135,000 per year

Additional Benefits: Full medical, dental benefits. Plus a pickup truck for transportation. 

A Milford, CT based family is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented full time Property Caretaker. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, completes tasks in a timely manner, and ensures that the property remains clean, functional, and well-maintained. They are looking for someone who is young, strong, active and experienced. There are 3 homes located on property totaling 15,000sf. 

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Maintenance of beachfront residences. 
• Inspect the property regularly and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Maintain and care for property features, including gutter spouts, stone walkways, and other outdoor areas.
• Remove debris such as leaves and sticks to ensure the property is tidy.
• Ensure the cleanliness and overall appearance of all outdoor spaces.
• Perform seasonal tasks, such as additional leaf or snow removal as needed.
• Cover and uncover outdoor furniture as required.
• Clean up debris following storms, including trash, dead tree branches, and miscellaneous items.

All applying candidates must possess the following traits:

• Previous experience in groundskeeping, property maintenance, or similar roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time efficiently.
• Basic knowledge of outdoor cleaning tools and equipment, such as leaf blowers and pressure washers.
• Physical capability to lift, bend, rake, sweep, and perform other outdoor maintenance duties.
• Flexibility to handle seasonal and weather-related tasks.
