Job Description

Our client, a leading in-house creative agency in New York City, is seeking a Freelance Project Manager with hands-on experience managing social media initiatives  ideally within large-scale marketing or financial services environments. In this role, youll support the Social Media team within the broader Marketing organization, overseeing campaign execution, creative workflows, and stakeholder coordination. Youll collaborate closely with internal agency teams and social strategists to ensure projects are delivered on time, on brand, and with excellence. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Project Manager to contribute to a major global brand, gain valuable exposure to enterprise-level marketing operations, and grow within a high-performing, collaborative team. Candidates must be based in the New York City area for occasional on-site meetings and briefings.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of social media projects, with a focus on LinkedIn and other key platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including strategy, creative, and production.
• Track timelines, deliverables, and approvals using established project management tools and workflows.
• Communicate project status, risks, and next steps to stakeholders.
• Ensure all social content meets brand, compliance, and platform requirements.
• Support the team in identifying process improvements and maintaining documentation.
• Assist in resourcing, scheduling, and budget tracking as needed.

 

Required Qualifications:

• 24+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Coordinator in marketing, creative services, or social media.
• Experience managing campaigns across LinkedIn (other platforms a plus).
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
