Project Manager

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee marketing projects from inception to completion in a higher education environment. The ideal candidate will coordinate with various teams, ensuring that all projects align with our strategic goals while adhering to timelines and budgets.

This is a temporary freelance role that will be flexible in hours. It will likely be ~20 hours/week from October-January, 40 hours/week from February-April, and back down to 20 hours/week for the two weeks in late April/May. This is for an extended leave coverage.

Our client would like someone within driving distance of Oxford, OH so that they can be onsite at least once/month.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders
• Implement project management best practices and tools, including Asana
• Facilitate team meetings and discussions to drive project progress
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in a marketing environment
• Strong proficiency in Asana and other project management tools
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and frameworks
• Nice to have: Experience with PageProof

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
