Plant Quality Manager - Tier-1 Automotive
Location: Southeast of Indianapolis, IN | On-Site | Full-Time
$110K-$130K Base + Full Benefits + Relocation Support

We're hiring a Plant Quality Manager for a flagship Tier-1 automotive facility outside Indianapolis. This is a confidential, high-impact role leading plant-wide quality initiatives, managing internal systems, and owning customer relationships.
This role has direct visibility to both regional and global quality leadership , and is ideal for someone who thrives in structured environments focused on continuous improvement, systems compliance, and team growth .
What You'll Own (not all required experience)
Lead and execute the plant's quality strategy in alignment with corporate and customer expectations
Represent customer quality requirements internally and ensure they're implemented on the floor
Drive continuous improvement , audit readiness, and regulatory compliance (IATF, ISO)
Define and monitor key quality KPIs , reporting to both site and corporate leaders
Oversee supplier quality programs in collaboration with purchasing and engineering
Develop, lead, and mentor the site quality team , including staffing and process development
Serve as the escalation point for product nonconformances and enforce quality holds when needed
Maintain and improve the Plant Quality Management System , including document control and records
What You Bring (flexible)
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred depending on experience)
5 years of plant-level quality leadership or 5-8 years of plant-level quality engineering experience in manufacturing (automotive preferred)
Demonstrated experience with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001/45001 or equivalent systems
