✅ Qualifications
✔️ Master's degree from an accredited PA program (required)
✔️ Active Indiana PA license and NCCPA certification (PA-C) (required)
✔️ Prior hospital or surgical experience (preferred)
✔️ Expertise in diagnosing acute/chronic conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests, and providing surgical and emergency care
✔️ Strong interdisciplinary collaboration, leadership, and patient communication
✅ Key Responsibilities
✔️ Conduct patient assessments, including histories and physical exams
✔️ Diagnose conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans
✔️ Assist in surgeries and perform routine procedures
✔️ Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.)
✔️ Provide emergency care and escalate critical cases as needed
✔️ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and specialists to coordinate care
✔️ Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
✔️ Lead quality assurance projects and patient education initiatives
✔️ Supervise nursing and direct care staff in clinical settings
