Pharmacy Technician Compensation

• The pay for this position is $24.45 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Pharmacy Technician Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based on attendance, performance, and business needs
• Required availability is Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–6:30 PM , with possible Saturday rotation
• This position is 100% onsite

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare IVs under direct pharmacist supervision
• Enter prescription and billing data into pharmacy systems
• Prepackage medications according to regulatory and internal standards
• Assist with the final check process, staging medications for pharmacist review
• Package completed orders and coordinate accurate, timely delivery
• Receive, rotate, and track medication inventory including lot numbers and expiration dates
• Assist with equipment safety checks, cleanliness, and calibration
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Pharmacy Technician Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
• Active Pharmacy Technician Certification or willingness to train under a DORA Provisional License
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to follow regulated procedures
• Solid communication and teamwork skills

Pharmacy Technician Preferred Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician, IV compounding, or medical billing experience
• Experience working in a high-volume or regulated healthcare environment
