Nursery Wholesale Worker 
Hourly Position: Varying work schedules

The Nursery Wholesale Worker supports the daily operations of a 35-acre wholesale nursery by ensuring plant material is received, maintained, and prepared accurately and efficiently for customers. The role requires strong organization skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Knowledge of landscape plant materials is preferred. Candidates must have flexibility to meet seasonal and daily demands, including extended hours during peak periods. The job involves regular physical labor, working in all weather conditions and operating around equipment. This is a seasonal role anticipated to run from March-November. 

Job Duties:

• Assist with timely unloading of trucks and organization of nursery products
• Maintain products by applying fertilizers; weeding, or pruning crops 
• Accurately count incoming inventory and pull orders
• Locate a variety of nursery stock spread out over a large area
• Perform limited equipment operation (i.e. flat tops, bobcat loaders, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of landscape plant materials (Trees, Shrubs, Evergreens, Annuals and Perennials)
• Ability to perform physical job duties outdoors in a variety of weather conditions for 8-10 hours per day
• Must possess the ability lift/move 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs on an occasional basis.
• Must be able to work with plants in a nursery setting and work adjacent to or with nursery equipment, agricultural chemicals, and other related agricultural activities.
• High school education preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Compensation: $18.00/hour

Scheduled Hours:
Monday through Friday: 7:30AM – 4:00PM. Plus overtime as needed.
In peak periods, Monday through Friday: 7:30AM – 5:00PM, Saturday: 7:30AM – 12:00PM. Plus more hours as needed.
