Currently, we are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist for our Tracy location. Schedule needed: 38 hours per week within the hours of Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 5:30pm & Friday 8:00am - Noon
* Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred
ESSENTIAL POSITION DUTIES
- Greeting warmly and maintain a friendly, welcoming relationship with all patient care coordinators, and any external connections.
- Clearly communicates with all staff, including clinical and corporate employees, in a friendly and courteous manner
- Responsible for answering phones and greeting patients with the utmost professionalism and care.
- Works closely with Billing Department, Physical Therapists and Aide staff to assure smooth patient flow
- Maintains patient confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential
- Participates in and adheres to, as required, the HIPAA Policies and Procedures of Therapy Partner Group
- Reviews Copay collection reports and helps identify accounts that may need to be reviewed
- Audits Journeys/Dashboard to ensure they are being worked on in a timely mannerââââ
- Audits Payer Direct Portal to ensure notes are being uploaded/AUTHâs pulled
- Checks FOC Chats to ensure messages are being responded to and worked on
- Chart audit day/s in advance to ensure we have charts with documents and AUTHâs as required
MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office; Raintree PMS experience is a +Plus
- Possess strong customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidential documents
- Must be organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to communicate complex information in a well thought-out, easily understood manner, both orally and in writing in a variety of settings and styles
- Ability to communicate in an honest, direct, and professional manner, relating well to others to build rapport and effective relationships.

Education and Experience Education :Â High School diploma or equivalent
Experience : Data Entry, System Dashboard and or Worklist Completion Projects a plus
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions Requires prolonged sitting, some walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and present reports.
