**Maintenance Electrician - 1st shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician for a 1st shift position. The ideal candidate should have a strong electrical experience and be comfortable performing both electrical and mechanical tasks. This role involves working with ovens, industrial burners, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, valves, and bearings within the facility. **Responsibilities** + Pull wires, wire and rewire switches, bend conduit, and troubleshoot VFDs. + Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v and some lower voltages. + Conduct light welding (MIG and stick) on mild steel. + Repair and/or replace pumps, motors, gears, and bearings. + Read and interpret prints and schematics. **Essential Skills** + **MUST HAVE** at least 3-5+ years of recent industrial electrical experience. + Ability to perform tasks with a 50/50 split between electrical and mechanical duties, with flexibility towards 60/40 electrical. + Proficiency in using a volt meter. + Skill in troubleshooting mechanical industrial equipment. + Capability to troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480v single and three phase. **Work Environment** The facility specializes in heat treating for the automotive industry. 1st shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Expect to work 40 to 50 hours per week in a non-union setting. Attendance Bonuses **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
