Reporting To: Assistant Housekeeper

Description

The Junior Suite Attendant collaborates with the Suite Ambassador to deliver impeccable and personalized in-suite services, aiming for complete guest satisfaction. By assisting in fulfilling guest requests, understanding preferences, and anticipating needs, this role ensures the seamless cleanliness of the suite, adhering to both Public Health Standards and Standard Operating Procedures.Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the Lady or Gentleman for this job. Responsible for the suite cleaning, assists the Suite Ambassador with replenishing of in-suite amenities, and executing any other guest requests or preferences in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures; Partners with the Suite Ambassador to prepare the suite on arrival day; Creates positive and memorable experiences for guests and anticipates their needs and expectations through engaging and genuine conversation. Ensures that all guest concerns, enquiries, and requests are recorded, followed up and addressed immediately to ensure complete guest satisfaction; Partners with the Suite Ambassador, where possible, to collect and deliver guest valet services such as guest pressing, laundry, dry cleaning, and shoe care services; Responds to problems quickly and efficiently with a problem solving, proactive attitude. Communicates and records any challenges to the Suite Ambassador and escalates conflict resolution as necessary; Creates maintenance requests for non-functional equipment and any other topics impacting the housekeeping operation in suites, pantries, and corridors. Reports any delays that impact the timely resolution of the issues to the supervisor; Responsible for the cleanliness of front of house and heart of house areas as assigned in the public area cleaning sections by the supervisor; Qualifications

Valid Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) and flag certification for the duration of the contract and appropriate to position; Good knowledge and experience of Housekeeping operations related to the role; Good knowledge and experience in Public Health rules and regulations related to United States Public Health (USPH) and Hazardous Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP); Good knowledge of Point of Sales and Inventory Management systems in the capacity of a user, ability to operate and demonstrate guest facing systems such as interactive television and in suite tablets; Previous experience on-board a luxury cruise ship as a Junior Suite Attendant or similar role and experience in a luxury hospitality environment are essential

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The Lady or Gentleman must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be physically able to participate in emergency lifesaving procedures and drills. Full use and range of arms and legs as well as full visual, verbal and hearing abilities are required to receive and give instructions in the event of an emergency including the lowering of lifeboats. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.; All Yacht Ladies and Gentlemen must be able to communicate in the English language in order to understand and interpret written procedures. This includes the ability to give and receive instructions in written and verbal forms and to effectively present information and respond to questions from guests, supervisors and co-workers.;
