Job Description

We are excited to invite applications for the role of Immigration Paralegal, located in Fort Lauderdale. This full-time, direct hire position is perfect for a motivated individual eager to contribute to a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of immigration law and demonstrate exceptional organizational skills.

MUST be able to reliably commute to the office in Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309 (5 days per week for 3-month probationary period)
Remote/Hybrid schedules and pay increases will be considered after a 3-month probationary period

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with attorneys to prepare and file a variety of immigration petitions and applications, including family-based and employment-based petitions, naturalization, and asylum applications.
  • Collect, organize, and manage client documents and information efficiently.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research on immigration-related matters.
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients regarding case progress and requirements.
  • Update and manage case files systematically.
  • Draft correspondence and prepare legal documents with precision.
  • Support attorneys with additional tasks as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certification is preferred; extensive relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Previous experience as an immigration paralegal, especially with employment, investor/education, and family-based visas (e.g., EB2, OPT, EB1).
  • Strong grasp of immigration law and procedural knowledge.
  • Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in both written and verbal communication.
  • Technological proficiency is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
