Georgia-Pacific is seeking contribution-motivated Engineers to join our Project and Engineering team full-time in Summer 2026 in Green Bay, WI or at one of our manufacturing sites if you previously interned with another Koch Company!

What You Will Do

Full-Time Engineers are designed for aspiring engineers who are seeking expedited training, professional development/mentorship, exposure to operations leadership, career growth, help support innovation, process efficiency, equipment reliability, quality assurance, and more with an overarching focus on compliance, safety & health. Build relationships with key partners to build trust and mutual benefit. Ensure compliance with OSHA and GP safety requirements, conduct daily and weekly safety meetings and assessments, issue and review safe work permits, and advocate for safe construction practices.

  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Construction/Project Management
  • Civil Engineering
  • Industrial Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Engineers generally will be placed into one of the following types of roles: Project Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Field Engineer. Specific job duties/responsibilities are dependent upon the role and location offered. More details will be provided during the selection process.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Enrolled in a degree or alternative program (e.g., 2-year technical college program, certificate program, upskilling program, etc.).
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and proactive communication skills.
  • Ability to relocate to another GP Manufacturing location per program and business requirements.
  • Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2026.
  • Able to travel 25%-50% of the time as dictated by business needs
What Will Put You Ahead
  • Enrolled and currently pursuing a degree in Construction, Mechanical, Civil, Project, Chemical, or related Engineering degree program.
  • Experience in the pulp & paper industry
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
