Job Description

P B Hoidale Co Inc currently has an opening for an experienced Environmental Specialist. As an Environmental Specialist, you will have the privilege of conducting research, initiating and enforcing regulations, and shaping corporate strategies related to environmental safety and sustainability. You will play an instrumental role in ensuring that the company operates ethically and sustainably, meeting all local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the environmental performance of the company operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure all company operations comply with federal and state environmental regulations and laws.
• Conduct environmental risk assessments and advise on how to minimize risk and environmental impact.
• Provide training and workshops for other departments to educate employees about environmental considerations and responsibilities.
• Prepare and maintain a variety of reports, records, and documents relating to environmental compliance activities.
• Collaborate with various departments across P B Hoidale Co Inc to develop policies and procedures that support the company's sustainability goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience working in environmental compliance or a related field.
• Exceptional knowledge of federal and state environmental regulations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to articulate complex environmental compliance issues to a diverse audience.
• Familiarity with environmental testing equipment.
