Our client is a global manufacturing corporation that has consistently grown throughout the United States over the past 5 years- opening brand new facilities across the country. They have great benefits including high matching on 401k plans and excellent work/life balance. Their Michigan plant continues to grow internally. Due to promotion, they are looking to hire a new Engineering/Maintenance Manager

Main duties/functions include:

Directly lead a team of roughly 20 Engineers, Maintenance Technicians, Quality and Tooling Specialists
Lead major capital projects throughout the facility, maintaining the budgets and timelines o these projects
Ensure the plant is meeting all goals pertaining to safety, quality and production
Establish new PM programs
Utilize skills such as Lean, CI and Six Sigma to drive process improvements
Hire and train new technical professionals

Qualifications include:

BS in Engineering (or similar field) required
Experience leading engineering and maintenance in large manufacturing plants
Capital project experience
Strong Lean/CI mindset
Superior leadership and communication skills
