Position: Elementary School Secretary
Location: Horizon Science Academy Springfield- North Campus (3648 Victory Ave. Toledo, OH 43607)
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full-Time, Following the School Calendar in addition to modified summer hours.

Job Description:

Horizon Science Academy Springfield is seeking a dedicated and organized School Secretary to join our team. This role supports the school operations by managing administrative tasks, assisting staff, and serving as the first point of contact for students and families. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, manage emails, and direct inquiries appropriately.
• Maintain student records, attendance logs, and enrollment data.
• Track student absences, early dismissals, and late arrivals.
• Support staff with clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.
• Administer first aid and prescription medications to students for the purpose of providing emergency or necessary care in accordance with district, state and federal requirements.
• Collects fees and/or funds from student events and ensure the accuracy and timely completion of transactions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the administration.

Starting Pay & Benefits:

• Starting Pay: $17 to $18 per hour / Salary $32-33k
