Akkodis is seeking a Drupal Developer for a Contract with a client in Tampa, FL. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Drupal on Acquia Cloud and integrating headless CMS with React/Python applications via APIs.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Drupal Developer job responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain Drupal-based websites and applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and user experience.
Customize and extend Drupal modules and themes to meet specific business requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, content creators, and backend developers to deliver integrated solutions.
Ensure code quality and security compliance through regular testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Drupal functionality, performance, and integration.
Stay updated with the latest Drupal developments and contribute to continuous improvement of the platform.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related technical field.
Minimum 4–6 years of experience in Drupal development, including headless CMS implementations.
Proven experience working with Acquia Cloud and integrating Drupal with front-end frameworks like React via APIs.
Strong understanding of Drupal content architecture, editorial workflows, and performance optimization in cloud environments.
