Job Description

Responsibilities Set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment (e.g., reactors, filtration systems). Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and samples. Perform chemical separations and extractions under supervision. Document experimental procedures, results, and observations thoroughly. Maintain lab organization, safety protocols, and inventory. Assist in scaling processes from bench to pilot level. Collaborate with scientists to iterate on experiments and improve processes. Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or related field - or equivalent lab experience. 1-3 years of hands-on lab or industrial experience (internships welcome). Comfortable handling chemicals and following lab safety standards. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills. Able to troubleshoot equipment and work in a hands-on environment. Enthusiastic about building from the ground up in a startup setting. Bonus Skills Experience with wet chemistry, solvent extraction, or inorganic separations. Familiarity with analytical techniques (ICP-OES, titration, spectroscopy).
