Are you passionate about utilizing your drafting and engineering skills to create stunning custom shower doors? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Custom Shower Door Designer.

As a Custom Shower Door Designer, you will play a key role in ensuring that our custom shower door orders meet both our customer's expectations and our manufacturing capabilities. You will be responsible for generating custom shower door customer approval drawings and fabrication drawings using 3D CAD and shower door configuration software. In addition, you will be responsible for generating standard part and assembly drawings as required.

To be successful in this role, you should have an Associate's degree in Engineering, Drafting, or equivalent, or a Solidworks Certification with 1-3 years of experience. 2D CAD experience with Draftsite or Autocad is preferred. You must be able to communicate effectively with other employees, other departments, supervision, customers, and management, both verbally and in writing.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and convey engineering information to outside resources when required. You must be able to identify work process problems and possible solutions, and have a working knowledge of MRP/ERP (Friedman AS400) product configurations. You must also have technical knowledge of the product, computers, and engineering blueprints, with 3D modeling proficiency in Solidworks preferred.
