Job Description

Acara Solutions is hiring Assembly Technicians  for our client in Cincinnati, Oh. 

• Pay: $19-20/hr.
• Direct hire/permanent position 
• Scheudle:  Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm, with overtime available on Fridays

What You'll Do:

• Perform mechanical assembly of intricate components and systems according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
• Integrate wiring and electrical elements into mechanical assemblies by interpreting electrical schematics.
• Conduct functional testing of assembled systems to ensure operational integrity and design compliance.
• Inspect all parts for proper assembly and cosmetic defects, tagging non-conforming parts with re-work labels.
• Maintain and ensure proper use of assembly tools and equipment.
• Monitor and maintain supplies inventory by checking stock and notifying the supervisor of any needs.
• Follow all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Perform other tasks as directed.

Job Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience in a manufacturing setting
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical schematics
• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

• Previous experience working in a mechanical or electrical assembly environment
• Familiarity with quality standards and safety protocols in manufacturing
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Additional:

• Strong communication skills to report work progress and issues
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide basic numbers
• Ability to identify work process problems and propose solutions
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, and over 50 lbs with assistance
• Comfortable standing for prolonged periods and performing physical tasks (kneeling, squatting, etc.)
