About the Job
Huntington Learning Center in Glen Ellyn, Ill. is hiring tutors for ACT/SAT instruction in English, Math, Reading or Science. We are looking for dedicated teachers to help our students reach a brighter future!

Candidates should possess the following qualities:

Job Requirements:

• Part-time evening and/or weekend availability. 
• College degree required.
• Type 09 teaching certification is a plus, but is not required for those with Mathematics, Science or Writing expertise (verified by completion of an assessment test). 

Experience:

• Relevant: 1 year (Preferred).
• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred).

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday. 3 PM to 8 PM.
• Saturdays 9 AM to 3 PM.
• Sundays 10 AM to 4 PM.

Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include teaching students, implementing curriculum, communicating student needs to full-time staff, and creating a positive and supportive environment for our students. 
We offer paid initial and ongoing training in Huntington teaching methods and our highly developed curriculum. There are no lesson plans to create or homework to grade.
Compensation is between $17 -$20 hour based on experience and level of expertise.
